A brand new game show that tests your knowledge and skills from when you were in school

Hello!

We are third year Television Production Students here at Middlesex University and for our major project we wanted to use our love of entertainment shows and studio productions to create something that was quirky and unique - a simple idea that is now a full blown production; that is how Class Of Nerds was born. We have come up with the concept, we have the space and studio equipment and we're now working on the props and actors. However we can't do this alone and need your help to bring this studio production to life!

WHAT IS CLASS OF NERDS ABOUT?

Class Of Nerds is a studio-based, school-themed game show that features two panels competing against each other in three rounds of school-based games. The Victorian School theme will be used to dress the set, create the costumes for our actors and to identify specific props for the production - such as the cane. Set in the world today with modern people and a modern language, this show is expected to be full of fun, laughter and entertainment for the entire family to watch and enjoy together.

WHO ARE WE?

We have all worked incredibly hard in order to come up with a workable format, games that are entertaining and a programme that a whole range of audience members will enjoy. The dedicated crew involved are:

  • Chelsea Neil - Director
  • Hadassa Weill - Producer
  • Alice Murray - Production Manager

WHAT IS OUR PLAN OF ACTION?

We are currently in the pre-production stage meaning we are still planning everything to do with the production so we are all set for the production stage. We will soon put out a casting call so we can begin to get the contestants and presenter ready for the recording day. The filming itself will take place in the middle of March 2017.

Help us bring our school game-show to the screen!

With your generous donations we can raise the money needed to take care of crucial parts in the production of our game show. Below you can see the breakdown of how we would spend our minimum budget of £500.

We have set our minimum budget to £500 in order to ensure that we can cover the basics and turn the studio into a life-size school classroom.

Any money we raise beyond our target will go on further props and giving the cast a little extra for their work. It will also be put towards the private screening we will be holding once the project is completed.

Calling all game-show lovers!

We are appealing to our friends, family, board game lovers and game show lovers to help us as we embark on this exciting opportunity!

Be a member of our audience at our live recording!

Certain donors will be invited to be part of the audience in the LIVE recording of Class Of Nerds at Middlesex University in March. Space is limited though and this reward will be offered on a 'first come, first served' basis.

We will also be holding a private screening with snacks included when the film is completely finished. We will provide further details once the pilot episode has been completed.
